Last night was an absolute blast [smilie=071.gif] And I even managed to find, I think, the only single woman their   [smilie=050.gif] [smilie=126.gif]
But what this thread is really about............. I am cordially asking everyong to check their conscience AND cars for some possibly FRESH blemmishes [smilie=011.gif] I left my car in the front of Fred P. Ott's over night. The incident happened between !:00a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning. My car is a black Nissan 350Z with some obvious damage to the driver's side door and rear quarter panel. Looks like someone backed into or left the spot next to me causing the damage. I would appreciate it very much if whomever did this would PM me and resolve this matter. If anything on a matter of principal! [smilie=265.gif]
Nobody likes a hit and runner [smilie=011.gif] I understand there was some heavy drinking going on and it may have possible not to notice, so I would not at all hold a grudge, but rather be appreciative of the person for fessing up to this.
So if anybody saw this take place or knows who may have, your tips would be grreatly appreciated.
If it helps to be anonymous my cell # is (785)760-3306 and my name is Justin
Please help and/or "man-up,"

Justin that sucks.........If what Boat4life says is true then it could have been one of their regular customers. Good luck dude.

report it to the bar just in case it was a regular and they ask if anyone knows who's car it was. There are some good people out there that may report it the next day and just didn't want a dui.
good luck hope you have full coverage!
Wasn't me, my Suburban was in P. Ott's parking lot with the keys locked in till 10 this morning, but thats another story. Ask Cherry Tree and Jst4Cyn why the keys were in car.  [smilie=1062.gif] [smilie=1062.gif]

Justin,
the two of us (the wife and I went outside to get some air around 12:00. We were standing withina few feet, saw the whole thing, and know the truck (it was a pickup). The guy jumped out, with a piece of paper and a pen we talked about the fact that no damage was done to the truck, and the fact that is messed up your whole drivers side.
We went back in as the guy was leaving you a note. Obviously he had the best of intentions. Being only one day out, I'm sure they have not seen your post, and will contact you immdiately.
If they don't (and damn I don't want to get involved because I'd rather not have to be the snitch) You can call us and I'll give you all the details of what I saw and who.

inya4,
I checked the car for a note this morning, but there wasn't anything there  It may be possible that it somehow blew off, or maybe the guy was just putting on an act. BTW, don't think you're any kinda 'snitch" as anyone would do the same to help out when possible.
Keeping my fingers crossed,
OB21
PS- The passenger side scratches was from the night before in the snow when I was trying to get up the driveway and the car didn't make instead nicely settling on the basketball post [smilie=106.gif]
What a shitty run of luck this week. The night before the basketball problem my cat was run over and killed by a car. I am NOT a cat person, but I did love this cat. He was more like a dog who would play fight with my german shepherd. Just one helluva an incredible personality

The damage to the drivers side happened at 12. The damage boat4life saw was on the passenger side and OB21 admitted that he did that all by himself the night before.

Sounds like there was as much sandwich making in the parking lot as in the club. I saw the passengers side when we got there about 7:30?. It was still there Sunday morning or you were back there when I went to get my forgotten beer winnings. Hope you get it handled OK.

To the older (about upper 40-50) year old couple driving the dark colored late model extended cab pickup----- We know your truck wasn't damaged, since it has A CROME BUMPER, and other obvious reasons of size. Apparently you were smart, or stupid, enough to pretend to get out and start writing a note, but waited for the witnesses to step inside before leaving me with nothing but a messed up looking car [smilie=011.gif] I am giving you until Friday afternoon to come clean before I report this to the police and prosecute [smilie=265.gif] I am sure this could be much easier resolved without involving the authorities. It doesn't take long for police to end the situation. I would rather keep this simple and will not mention who you are, IF you come clean. We know what the options are, and I consider MOST of us really good people. If you were with friends of this website then I would urge them to persuade you in the right direction.
I have spoken with the witnesses, and we have given you a very fair amount of time to come forward. This is also followed by a second annonymous tip.
Eagerly awaiting resolve,

Good Luck Justin.
Hey BigDaddy or Jeff why can't we put this up as a sticky on all topics and rename it something like "Attention to whom ever hit a car at Fred P Ott's" or something.

You have been more than generous with the amount of time you have given these people, , if they don't come clean now and they are members of the site i vote they should be [smilie=banned.gif] , why would we want to associate with these kinds if they won't admit to this, I would be scared to be around them on the water...........

I dont know if this will help or not, - but when my wife and I left about 11:30 or so, - there was a Dark Blue Dodge or Ford Dulley screaming around the parking lot. - He looked like he was trying to back into a parking spot and then speed off again.

Man, that's chitty. I feel for you. Same thing happened to my truck when my wife drove it to work a few months ago. No note or anything. Man you just want to kick the living chit out of em. I've never been put in that situation, but if I was I would definitly leave a note, or go in and track you down. Thats what insurance is for. I say screw em. Call the cops. You've been waiting to long already. [smilie=101.gif] [smilie=101.gif] [smilie=101.gif] [smilie=101.gif]

i bet it was Troutly....he probably got his wookie-hair caught in the seatbelt, bent down to unbraid it and happened to catch Big Daddy in the act of sniffing Mrs. Troutly's thong that was thrown in the back seat and BANG!!!!! now Justin has a dent in his Z-car from a hairy cop with a thong sniffing little buddy.
on a serious note, i hate to hear the Z has a dent and no one has stepped up to take the blame. definitely a fun car.....

We were in the parking lot of Dierbergs once and these people were too lazy to put their cart in the cart corral. H*ll, they were too lazy to move it away from their own vehicle. As they were backing out, their side mirror pushed the cart. Since they were on an incline, it proceeded to roll down the parking lot and hit a car. The guy looked around to see if anyone saw and was going to leave. My hubby went over to the car and started to write a note. When the guy asked him what he was doing, Glenn said "I'm giving this guy your license plate # so he can file a report on you." Glenn stood there and waited for the guy to leave so he wouldn't take the note off the car.

Don't feel back. A guy backed into the wifes truck right in front of her. She called me when it happened and said don't worry we both looked at the truck really close and there was no damage. She gets home and there is an 8 inch round dent in the back of the truck. I started to ask her how in the phuck she couldn't see that. But I gave up it just wasn't worth it.

I can tell you it was not my dodge, we didnt move from our spot till the bar was closed. So it had to be a Ford. All we had to do was drive forward because we a parking spot hogs(we took two) on the very end.
Hope you catch who it was that sucks! Nice car we talked to you and your girl on the way out, good luck . If it was a dualle you would know it.

You bring up a good point, - I assume the Blue dulley parked at the end must have been yours. - "I should have mentioned that" - your truck was there when we went in, and was in the same spot when we left.

Thanks I just wanted to make a point so the point wasn't cumming back to me because I think it really sucks someone would do that! Atleast step up and help the poor guy out. Nope. There was more than one gorgeous single woman there.
Like my PM said. I'm gonna ask this weekend but think most have seen it on here by now. Any luck on surveillance cameras in the area?
Hang 'em. They've had time to get back to normal and read the site etc etc etc. Besides. They KNEW they did it without a doubt so there's NO EXCUSE!!!

Having insurance handle it  [smilie=106.gif] Thanks for all your concern, but it appears a lost cause  And I am slowly realizing that I just got [smilie=126.gif]
On a lighter note  I will be having my own lake house this summer [smilie=061.gif] Which will include a dock WITH a hoist [smilie=071.gif] I cannot begin to say how trilled I am. My sisters dad and I are splitting a duplex a buddy of his owns. Or we are going down this wwkend to kmake an offer a place. Both places are in the same cove that he and I grew up going down to. Directly across the chanel from Toad Cove. The 8mm cove with the small island in front. Many of you met him during our pre-Memorial Day raft up in PC. He was in the white and red Fountain that we sqeezed in next to me.
Anyway, winters blues are almost becoming summer (something possitives that rhymes with blues) [smilie=1074.gif] [smilie=1074.gif] [smilie=1074.gif]
