Ok here is my scenario, Have a full enclosure for a 33' carver and wondering how to remove the green spots of mildew and is there anything to use to make sun bleached vynl and/or cavnvas white again. Any suggestions? As well what about bleach? vinigar? Oxyclean? Any ideas are helpfull to restore its near original luster and whiteness.

You're not gonna like this....but, once mildew gets into the vinyl, it's almost impossible to get out. Now, I say almost because there are several things you can try.
Get a bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide (you know, the stuff in the brown bottle that sells for about 99 cents a quart. Get a bottle of Greased Lightning or Mildew Remover from the grocery store. Spray the white vinyl with the GL and follow up with the peroxide. You'll see it fizzing. Scrub it with a soft bristle brush and hose off. Honestly, if this doesn't bring the whiteness back, there's not much hope.
As always, when using anything harsh like bleach, apply a conditioner to keep this from happening again. High UV protection is CRUCIAL.

Ok, I got that down and will try that this weekend. What type of conditioner would you recomend with a high uv rating?
Thank you!!! [smilie=657.gif]

Just ask your friendly Dr. (Jeff) to send you a bottle of Frenzy! Vinyl Protectant. It has the highest UV protection available and last longer than other brands (303, Meguirs, etc).
Please let me know how it all works out for you.

A number of years ago I used a product called Whestley's Bleach White on a canvas camper top. Brought back the white, but I never really cared much about the after effects.
The stuff is made for taking the grime off tires and bringing back the white side walls or lettering.
Good luck. [smilie=042.gif]

I agree...that stuff's great for tires. But, I'd worry about the bleach eating the stitching. Try to stay away from bleach around your boat.
