Ran down to Porter, TX Friday morning to pick up our new pit. Got back last night and seasoned her up this morning. Once she was seasoned I threw a few slabs and a bird on her to try her out. here are a few pics.

No, We got in to Porter around 6:00. Got a bit cleaned up and met one of Cathy's gf and her husband for dinner. Then up by 7:00 for a bit of breakfast, then hooked up and made the trek back home.Just a quick trip down and back up. I'll post more pics of the insides of her this evening or at lunch.

I saw there was a Q there and also in Washington. Thought about heading to Washington to check things out on Sat. Now that I have this I've thought about maybe trying out some comps.
But maybe I should head over to JC instead.
Yes, we've met them. They have been here at BR for a few years. Bear (Rodney) knows them as well. Live in the same town. How do you know them?

Glad I got you my new number before we came to St Charles. I'll make sure to keep the phone close on the weekends now
