Hmmm, I would need to brush up more on Captain's license rules but it was my understanding if you work for hire on the water, you have to have a license?
Most basic being the "six pack" which allows carrying up to six passengers and then it gets much more difficult from there.

I believe taxi drivers require special licenses or endorsements even for the passenger car taxi yet Uber got around it for their drivers.

Uber gets around it because they are not being paid directly by the passengers. Uber also has deep pockets to fight in court.
Not sure if the rules can be skirted to work the same on the water.

There are several charter boats and rental boat companies skirting the rules at the lake. Years ago a fishing guide got fined.

I don't know if the the name, Anchor seems appropriate.
    Really seems 180 degrees off.

You party it up at anchor and they come get you.

I can see it now. No officer I will not be driving I will be calling anchor to get me home. I do think you are required at all times to have someone able to drive the boat at all times even while anchored.

There are several that don't have the license advertising on craigslist for Smithville, Perry and LOTO.

Not the same boat in all the pics, too. Seems fishy.

I dont even see one pic that would be from a Bayliner Cierra 2855! and definitely not from Smithville either.
Bow shots are too wide and not even the correct hatch. not one bayliner in the Ozarks power boat shot. SMH
Prob just bought it and trying to make a few payments.

Anybody know if this Anchor thing is still going to happen? Facebook page link no longer works (or Instagram), their website is still up though... deletion of the social pages would probably be a bad sign that they couldn't skirt the bareboat charter rules enough as they were claiming a while back on them.

Jump on and go straight to the bottom!
Never liked those loud obnoxious boats, until I bought one of my own.

Facebook video indicated driver app go live coming up and rider app/start Memorial Day weekend. Going to be interesting. Best way to make money would be transporting large groups of drunk people, but that's the last type of group I'd want to be on my boat that I didn't know (no care of how they treat my stuff).
