Who knows with the way the weather has been - 60 one day and 30 the next.

That's the problem with old wives, they always think they know everything.

Yessir - I fished off the dock yesterday and conservative agents pulled up checking permits within minutes, but they were pretty cool. All I caught were a bunch of empty cans.

I've already caught 40 this year so far, standing on the bank :-).

But that was three weeks ago when it was "Spring 1", LOL.

Crappie are decent table fare, but they don't fight, don't jump, and are basically boring. I'll wait until they are up on the banks then go get a few good messes and be done with them.

Tick.....jerk.....crank him in. Tick....jerk...crank in another one. Kinda like picking mushrooms ain't it? I can't even get drunk enough to make it exciting.
As long as you like the taste of whatever you're coating the fillets with I suppose you could say they are yummy. Pretty much the fish to eat...for people who don't like fish.

How do you fish for the stripers and white bass in the lake?
