We would like to thank everyone that came out and supported the 2008 Midwestboatparty Support Our Troops Poker Run. We had over 250 come and and support a great cause. Because of your generosity, we were able to pay out almost $10,000 in prizes and donations to Operation Homefront.

Midwestboatparty has always had a fond place in our hearts for the men, women and families of our armed forces. Many of our members are either military personnel themselves, or family members of miliatry personnel. Due to your generosity, we were able to donate $5,500 from the 2008 Midwestboatparty Poker Run to Operation Homefront.
Operation Homefront provides emergency assistance and morale to our troops, to the families they leave behind, and to wounded warriors when they return home. A nonprofit 501(c)3 founded after September 11, Opertation Homefront leads more than 2,500 volunteers in 26 chapters nationwide. Since its inception, Operation Homefront has provided critical assistance to more than 40,000 military families in need.
