Mark your calendars today so you don't miss this great weekend of boating with friends and raising money for a great cause. The Third Annual Support Our Troops Poker Run promises to be even bigger and better run than last year.

Midwestboatparty has always had a fond place in our hearts for the men, women and families of our armed forces. Many of our members are either military personnel themselves, or family members of miliatry personnel. Last year we brought 120 boats and over 400 boaters from all over the country together for this event and we were able to raise and donate over $12,000 from the 2009 Midwestboatparty Poker Run to Operation Homefront. Once again, all proceeds from the 2010 Poker Run will go to this great charity.

Operation Homefront provides emergency assistance and morale to our troops, to the families they leave behind, and to wounded warriors when they return home. A nonprofit 501(c)3 founded after September 11, Opertation Homefront leads more than 2,500 volunteers in 26 chapters nationwide. Since its inception, Operation Homefront has provided critical assistance to more than 40,000 military families in need.

Friday, June 25th

12 Noon - Staff Lunch / Meeting

6:00 PM - 9:00 PM- Sign in and registration party & Silent Auction
The Registration Party will be held at Lazy Gators (Pool next to Shady Gators 7MM)
We will be having a silent auction to raise money for Operation Homefront during the party

Saturday, June 26th

9:00 AM - MANDATORY Drivers Meeting & Crew Breakfast: Shady Gators 7MM

10:00 AM - First fleet of boat released behind pace boat. You will be filmed by the helicopter as you make the run up the lake.

10:15 AM - Second fleet of boats released behind pace boat.

10:30 AM - Third fleet of boats released behind pace boat.

11:00 AM - Rehab Day - Private Pool Party at Lazy Gators, located at Shady Gators (7 MM).

We would like to thank everyone that came out and supported the 2009 Midwestboatparty Support Our Troops Poker Run. We had over 120 boats and 400 boaters from all over the country come and and support a great cause. Because of your generosity, we were able to pay out almost $5,000 in prizes for the participants and over $12,000 in donations to Operation Homefront.
