Any of the places they're going would be good. Heck, you could even head to one of the stops and meet some of the guys.

For starters.... The poker run is Saturday with all boats leaving from Shady Gators at the 7mm. Depending on whether boats go on the short or long run, will make seeing all the boats difficult. The first stop will be either Frankie & Louie's at the 10mm or Bear Bottom Resort at the 38mm.

Most boats will head to Bear Bottom or in that general direction first except for the very last group. Anywhere you can get a view of the main channel from about 9:30AM on between the 7MM and 35MM you should see lots of power running down the lake.

I think the Community/Toll bridge has a sidewalk would be a good spot.

So am I, and so am I. I just didn't want them falling asleep and slipping into the water waiting for us to come by.

we'll probably run pretty hard for 7-10 miles than cruise rest of the way, so from 7mm - 17mm or so

Might be room on one of the drives. I think we can put at least 20-30 people on that boat if we try!

Curious how long does it take to go to each stop, are you just picking up the card and going on or are you hanging out for as long as you want then taking off? I was going to go to about the 14 mm watch them, then to paradise then to the 33 mm. Just trying to see if the boats are taking off about 10 am if the stop at shadys and frankys and louies am i looking at around 11 for them to start running past the 14mm?

I am at the 34MM across form Capt. Rons and I was hoping they will still be running hard then since they are going to Bear Bottoms at the 38MM. Do you guys think by then, they will be letting up since they have been on the throttle hard since the 7MM? If you guys think they will be letting up, where would you go to watch them that is relatively close to the 34MM? Thanks for your input.[smilie=042.gif]

Thank you for the info, especially the day it happens. I would be waiting a long time on Sunday for the boats.
