We were the only boat for breakfast on Sunday at H-Toads, we did eat outside though. The weather was amazing last weekend, I'm hoping for a few more before I winterize despite this cold snap.

Um. I hope you winterized Sunday or you are going to have a nice surprise next time you get your boat out.

Nahh - water is still in the 50's, even air temp down into the single digits with water that warm it's no worry. I also have 2 huge bilge heaters in there and an oil radiator/space heater in the cabin.

That is great! I am heading down the 29th and hope to spend the month of January there!

Being the "foodie" that you are, go to Neverminds on Cape Coral Blvd and ask for the "manboard" with the bacon cheeseburger (plenty for 2). For desert, get the chocolate chip cookies and ice cream. You will not regret it.

The best shrimp basket is at Berts in Matlacha.

The breakfast burrito at the Yacht Club is hard to beat (and cheap).

At the Yacht Club there is a guy named John that rents pontoons. He was raised up on the Niangua.

Not the weekend but pretty close. Took advantage of the free toll bridge and cruised around Porta Cima after work.

Interesting accidental windshield filter on the first one.
I counted 17 boats as we crossed the bridge.

40 degrees outside and 70 in the cockpit. Good way to keep isolated. Saw lots of bass boats and several wave runners.

The last place you want to be is in a medical clinic during a pandemic but I couldnít really sleep with this in my leg. Iím an idiot..... the Laurie location of Lake Regional got me right in and took the unexpected piercing out.

The doctor hadnít seen this before, I told him I bet the local veterinarian had.
