The conservation department has stickers that are rulers that we have on the dock poles. We pick up a new one every year at the boat show.
Women love men that love boats - We figure they are used to high maintenance
They are also passionate about things they love!

Went down again today - started fishing about 2 PM - caught a couple then they went cold for several hours (like last time). I stayed in it all evening, about dusk they started hitting again. I got 13 in all. A lot of boats came by and they were saying it was very tough fishing today, I consider myself lucky.

Are all of you fishing from your dock or bank? Have you sank any cover off your dock?

We fished off the dock the last three days and only caught three. We have at least twenty trees around the dock that we sunk two years ago . Used minnows and jigs
Fish and hunt while your hot because your cold for a long time.

I went down today (Tuesday) after work, started fishing by about 5 PM. I pulled a limit out, doing the same technique I've been talking about all along in this thread.

Btw - not a single female in the 15 I cleaned tonight. Spawn yet to pull into full swing

Are you still using the Chartreuse body, white tail, chartreuse crappie nibble or minnows? We fished this past weekend with jigs off the dock, but nothing

Yep. Chart body, white tail, chart nibbles.

I'm fishing from my dock some, but mainly off the bank. They really hit better late in day and when its getting dark. I don't know if color has all that much to do with it as much as the noise and the fact the fish are creeping in at that time.

I caught 8 from about 5-7 PM, from the bank, behind docks in water probably 4-6 foot deep (cast in let sink a second and start reeling). Then I caught the other 7 in about an hour from 7-8, casting out between docks and mediium retrieve after a 1-2 second drop.

Local guys near me have been down all weekend, they go out in boats. Said they limited out (three in boat) on both Saturday and Sunday this past weekend.

I was going to come down this weekend, but the weather just looks to crappy for crappie fishing. The fish might not mind it, but I have become a bit of a fair weather fisherman.

Fishing just before a rain front moves in has proven to me to be some of the best crappie fishing ever.

Everything is spawning late. The White bass haven't started yet either.
Dogwoods in full bloom and not a single fish on beds yet.....That's a first.

Here's hoping she shits out 8000 kids and leaves you to tend to them.

Went down this afternoon - caught 13 in about 2.5 hours, same tactics as usual. All but one were males.
