    AK education

Got an urge to look for an AK47 but quickly finding I know very little facts about them. One that I thought looked kind of rough, was actually a more valuable make. Wasn't looking for anything top-of-the-line, just something fun to throw lead.
    Any suggestions?

They are fun and throw the lead. I have one from Romania and haven't had any problems. They are not anything fancy. The American made ones are pricey. I gave a little over $500 for mine a few years ago.

Mines Bulgarian over a 1000 rounds through it with no issues. The Chinese are the worst followed by the Russians

Bought an AK, that is considered a pistol. Made by Zestava. Fun to shoot, but Dayum this thing is loud!

Now time for an AK74. And you have to watch the video of the guy that makes an AK out of a shovel. Cool as heck

I have held a couple and I didn't care for the safety it was cheesy. Its a German stormgehwere <sp. copy. It kinda looks cool but I would prefer the German original. I have a cool swiss Sig rifle and the safety is awesome. Aint nothing like the real thing baby!
