No luck from the 60 to the 70 yesterday. Quite a few other people were out with little luck as well. May try GG today or just do something else. Sure am glad I cut my teeth on Cheney lake... You have to pay attention up there in a ski boat. Saw 2' once in a while. Had to paddle off a big island by Rebel Harbor. Fun adventure. Sue at Moonies is a hoot!

Well we jerked our poles too. Holders were just there for rest.

Yeah, could have stayed home and been just as effective.

70 is probably as low as I've ever been snagging. I would think this time of year with current water temps higher might be better. We normally start from a lrivate ramp around the 79 and head up stream. The Old Oar House is a popular spot.

We tried from the 8 to the 7 or so in the GG a little with no luck yesterday. It's so deep I wasn't surprised we didn't get anything. There were were a lot of fish on the finder though.
We tried for crappie quite a bit in Pa He Tsi, Mystic Bay and the cover south of Party Cove. No luck with that either. I think it was too windy. The water was white capping.
Switched boats and BBQ chicken pizza at F&L's with a PITA was a good end to the day.
I got one crappie this morning off the dock on a white plastic minnow.
