Splashing a little paint , new to us lake house , minor overhaul

Made a few more modifications over the summmer. D&B docks came back out and Rogers crew added an extra slip for the CC.

Looks great, did you have to break through the magic 3000sq ft ceiling? Looks like i'm getting ready too.

Place is looking great. We can see you from across the cove every morning the dogs get walked.

Just curious what is the deal with the rebuild beside you, ie: the tall straight up wall facing north? Is it going to be a pool below it, or just a different look?

Yes my walk ramp pushed me over , almost squeaked under the 3000’ft mark but a 48’ ramp adds some sq ft.

It’s a different look. Belongs to Precsion paint works owners. They like funky and different.

What about the tear down house next to you? I looked hard at that a little over a month ago. The rock and access scared me away. Anything happening there now?

Owner had it listed on Craigslist last I knew. Good piece of property with a great location and opportunity for someone. Hard work is done. Property is already on city water and sewer, electric already onsite, money that would be saved vs a vacant lot. Enough Waterfront to maybe squeeze a 2 well dock on.
Tear it down , build a 3 car garage down low,then build a McMansion on top of the garage. Lots of hillside homes down here built that way.
As an added bonus you’d be neighbors with some of the best people on the Lake and as a detractor me as well. That last part may deduct from the value.

That one picture with a garage facing the lake, very cool. I spend many hours in the garage working on projects and a lake view would be excellent. I did do the next best I put a camera on the dock and a big screen on the wall like a lake window.

Any word on when that mobile home may leave? That was the other issue for me. I figured it would have to leave sometime. Hard to justify building a brand spanking new house 20ft from a mobile home.

It won’t be around too long. Owner doesn’t want it there much longer.
