    Security Cameras

Just ran across a nice 4 camera wireless system. Firstrend from Amazon. Wireless and very clear. $280. I know a few have talked about getting cameras.

I have Arlo cameras and like them. Not cheap, but 4k, motion sensors, and all on my phone and/or computer.

I almost bought a Blink XT2 2 Pack & mounted one up on the beam behind the boat, but found out you have to have something plug'd in within 20' of the unit to work...
All someone would have to do is unplug the unit & camera goes out!
Any cameras that are stand alone units without needing something plug'd into a outlet to work?

I have Blink XT2 at home and my farthest camera is about 50' from the hub. I haven't had any issues.

It's been a while, Tango! Good here. I'm just glad things are getting back to normal. Retired life looks real good from here, but it will be a while for me.

I am. The audio quality isn't as good as some, but good enough. From the time a camera picks up movement, to a notification arriving to my cell, averages around 8 seconds. Very few false alerts once you get your sensitivity and activity zones set up.
