I guess that is why most opt for the travel lift. Definitely an epic fail.

They originally put it in with the travel at Formula.

It's probably too tall without a fair amount of disassembly. I guess that's why it belongs in the ocean.

So if they got it up the hill I wonder where they were taking it? Guess it's a good thing it happened there and not on 54 .

If its too tall for the travel lifts I would think it would be too tall to transport on the roads.
    Whats next?

We have 3 or 4, maybe 5 yachts on our docks that size. But I have not seen any trailers for those monsters. I got to go inside one, and it was like a apartment! Bad to the bone! Funny thing one boat owner only takes his monster out twice a year, maybe less? Nice machines, but id take em out more than that!

    BAD Day!

Rumor is ...... take that for what’s worth ....

It was pulled to get prop fixed, ceramic coating applied , and add some more graphics. Iguana was tasked with sourcing the work out and they did not want to pay Formula to pull the boat or use their facility as this would cut into profit.......
so the plan was to just pull it up into PB2 parking area, do the work and then relaunch before the weekend. By saving a few bucks on the travel lift they were rewarded with a huge recovery bill, fines from park service , possible damage to the drive pods, 4 prop repairs instead of 2 , and a upset customer.

They had to pull the truck up the hill with an 821 I suppose because of traction due to the wet slab. Loader guy failed to swing out enough to keep trailer on slab. What a mess.

Lots of information floating around... What I heard. Boat had minor damage no structural issues, just a couple of scratches some chipped counter tops inside from stuff falling And recieved an all clear from the structural engineer from the manufacturer who came in this am. Oh, and a TON of embarrassed faces.

I also heard owner has been very understanding about situation and a NUMBER of high profile people jumped in offering assistance. Iguana was the selling dealer to this owner on multiple boats. They were handling the servicing of the boat. Prop repair and ceramic coating was main goal at time of removal. Was never going to leave PB2, just an in and out. The best laid plans... I am quite sure everyone is in damage control/CYA mode...

Last thing I heard was to expect it back on the water by the weekend.

Actually this is a testament to the quality of boat, I am not sure this is what was planned, but if I was selling/building this boat, I would be spinning like a marry go round showing what it handled and came out fine!
