I heard it was way behind schedule and way over budget.

Wouldn't doubt it. There's been piles of rock waiting to be placed down the hill for months.

I'm wondering where they found a local boat ramp to use. I can't imagine that they would continue to use the SB public ramp to swap out trailers.
What happens at the lake, stays at the lake. Unless I have a camera handy.

I was at SS on Saturday to settle up a bill and I can’t imagine taking a boat down that road. I know the marinas do it all the time but damn, that’s a rough road. Maybe they’ll pony up to get it repaved or lean on the county.

Lake Shores also has a ramp near the new location.

I just hope they clean up the old place and don’t just leave all their junk boats there.

I see these fenced in area full of old boats and wonder what’s the point of keeping them? these graveyards surely don’t contain any parts worth even using?

I recall a conversation with the son of the Raymond’s owner many years back and he told me that his words fell on deaf ears, telling his mother to scrap that yard full on Hwy 5. Her response was always that they had value when they took them on trade so they have value today.

If you go on Boatcrazy.com many of those old boats at Raymond's are on there for $100 a piece

I remember how at Raymond's boats went up in cost if it was a holdover lol. Charlene would say since she had it longer her overhead was higher and hence the boat price was higher. Dumbest shit I've ever heard.

I got jammed up with a shady salesman on my boat from Raymond's and she wouldn't back it. He gave me a "personal check" as a rebate and it was bad - he was no where to be found after that. $500 loss and her answer - that's not the way we do business....I spent the next two boat shows in St Louis directing customers from their booth!

When I was looking for a trailer for my boat I called and told her what I was looking for and she said come on up we have multiple choices. My oh my what choices the were. They were at best lot trailers not road worthy and she wanted 6-10k for them!!!
