    Fall Colors

Took a 2 wheel ride from Camdenton to 7 in Greenview then J to 54 West for a few miles then 73 South to highway E in Tunas then follow E for a short ways and be careful of the Mennonite buggies and horse piles on the road.....take E to T South and go 12 miles and you will hit Highway 64 and go East about 10 miles and take the Bennett Springs first entrance and it will take you through the Park. Get back on 64 East (gas stations here) and go about 12 miles until you hit highway 5 in Lebanon and head towards Camdenton go about 5 miles and you will see a sign that says Eldridge (Kansas Road) and turn left and go about 3-4 miles and this runs into D Road and about 15 miles or so you will hit Ha Ha Tonka Springs and then Highway 54 is just a short distance from there and about 2 miles out of Camdenton.

This is all paved roads and most of it is GREAT for 2 wheels and not much traffic except for the stretch through Lebanon. I have tried to find a paved cut over from 64 to Eldridge so I can by-pass Lebanon but keep hitting gravel stretch.

I have to say that J Road by the Niangua Bridge is my all time favorite spot for fall colors and if you haven't saw it take a few minutes and at least see this stretch. There is a new bridge over the Niangua but the old bridge is still there and you can park and walk over it.

Taking out waterbikes (SeaDoos) this time of year can also be quite spectacular (31mm/Lover's Leap bluff heading into Linn Creek last Sunday after the sun fought through).
