At the 26-mile mark of the Lake, I heard a big boom a couple seconds after the game ended. Not sure if it was a firework or one-gun salute, but someone was celebrating. Anybody else hear it?

I heard the same at the 31mm. Fish was packed with Chiefs fans. One of the few times I still wished I was in KC.

I laid down after the game. The boom caught my attention. It was followed by a bunch of fireworks.

I’m at 635 & I29 and the fireworks across the Missouri River valley were rockin. What a season but we’re not done yet. Bring on that West Coast team.

Our son (Mitchel) is a sports anchor for WIBW CBS in Topeka and he has been covering a lot of games for the Chiefs...usually on the field in pre game then press box for the game then field/locker room interviews and he has sent me some pretty cool pic's.

Mitchel was on the field for warm ups on Sunday and Mahomes walked past then knelt at the goal for a short prayer.....Mitchel is going to Miami to cover the Super Bowl for WIBW and what an experience that will be.

Wow. So happy for him and his career. Does he get to go to the game as well?

You must be a real proud papa.
What happens at the lake, stays at the lake. Unless I have a camera handy.

Mitchel told me that he leaves for Miami and his Super Bowl coverage on Sunday which seems kind of early but he might be mixed up on dates....he was just a little excited after the game when he told me.

I'm proud of all of our sons and their accomplishments and they have all worked hard and sacrificed for their careers.....Mitchel is just a little more high profile than his brothers
