    Nice day on the lake!

We came to the lake to "hole up" but have been busy doing a major remodel on two bathrooms. That said, we did find some time to get the Skater out.

Was great. I just got back to KC and that strong north wind blew in some cold reminders that it’s still early.

The number of boats out there--on a Wednesday in early April--was hard to believe. Obviously, a lot of people who aren't working are spending their free time on the water. Lots of kids on boats, too. Everybody's going to be so spoiled that they'll never want to go back to work or school.

I think I heard a meal for 2 for $40. Is that right? If so, it sounds like a great way to tour their menu a bit.

While I think that the waterfront establishments will struggle this year, cheap gas and social distancing will cause the lake to be as busy as ever.

Agreed. I've already put 10 hours on the clock and I'm hoping for a whole lot more.

Of course a few miles from home an engine died and would not start. Though it was a dead cell in a battery, but once on the lift the prop would not turn. Pulling the lower tomorrow to see the damage. Oh well, this is going to be a GREAT boating year.

Tango it’s a a BOAT, break out another thousand. LOL, I feel your pain. Believe me I do. On another note pulled in to Camden on the lake yesterday. Gas dock full, so slowly idled in, was passed by 3 toon, 1 had 6 people, another had 8, the other one has 12. One of them kind saw what they did and wave me to go forward. I waved by. There was know way I was going to get on the dock with that many people wanting to get gas. But for the most part all the boats I saw out were family's and having a good time. Even saw some kids tubing. Burr!!
