    Hi

    New member here.
We live on the canada/USA border area of northern MN and northwest ON. Boating takes us on Rainy Lake and Lake of the Woods. We have a classic 20í Sea Ray bow rider that gets us around safely and pulls us on skis, tubes and knee boards.

We still have some ice in the lakes right now. Itís on its way out though. Another week or so and Iím sure we could put the boat in. I dont even think about getting out in the boat till mid May at the earliest. The water isnít warm enough to swim (for me anyway) till mid June. The kids donít mind getting into the cooler water earlier though.
Weíre done boating by mid September. Once the kids are back in school, we donít get out much. The lakes freeze up again usually mid to late November.
