Well doesn't that figure. Bob's from Wichita and used to hang and race with Sarge (Lakerats Dad). Richey got these going when we burned up 3 blenders at the lake in one night. But one was built into the counter top in his motorhome. Ofcourse if he would have been pacing himself he would have known we were there instead of being passed put while the burning motor smell filled his motorhome.

WOW!!! Thanks to everybody for sharing their information, especially SDB for all the details! This will be a great project and should make for some very memorable times at the dock!

Anybody willing to share any of their "Super Top Secret Blender Recipies" to help a beginner?

I think I'm gonna use the smaller container....anybody have any pros/cons for smaller or larger container?

I only make them with the smaller container 2 and 3 gallon, the 5 gallon can get very expensive. We normally make 2 or 3 batches by then everyone is pretty much intoxicated as we also have to do shot, etc........I suggest the 3 gallon cooler

About the 5 gallon - I have a housewarming party on the 11th and I wanted to have adequate quantitys of blender poison. I gave it a trial run with 6 of my buddies lastnight and made a batch that filled up about a third of the 5 gallon jug. We were tanked and still had a little left(shame on me). So unless you are throwing a bash i can't see needing anything over a 3 gallon.

Come on now! Neat yes. New idea? Hardly. These things in several variations were around in frat houses when I was back in college in the early 80's. Just goes to show you, nothing goes out of style they just get recycled.
